Siddurim (Prayerbooks) and Chumashim (Bibles) at CAA

At CAA we use Siddur Eit Ratzon, a non-denominational prayerbook that offers the traditional prayer liturgy in Hebrew accompanied by a full transliteration into phonetic English, a modern translation, as well as extensive commentary on the prayers.  We adopted Siddur Eit Ratzon in 2022 and have found that it is an invaluable resource in making our services more accessible and meaningful for everyone--folks who have been attending Shabbat services their whole lives and those walking in for the first time.  You can learn more about Siddur Eit Ratzon and see sample pages at https://joerosenstein.com/eit-ratzon-prayerbooks/

We keep a limited amount of brand new copies on hand for purchase for home use (at cost).  If you are interested in purchasing a copy please email Rabbi Alex.

To follow along with the weekly Torah portion we use the Etz Hayim Chumash, published by Rabbinical Assembly.  This volume offers the full text of the weekly Torah and Haftarah (prophetic) readings in Hebrew and translation.  This Chumash also includes extensive commentary and exposition, calling on the wisdom of ancient sages and modern scholars to help us understand the words of the Torah and find their meaning in our modern lives.
