CAA Women's Group
The CAA Women's Group was started in 2020 and is a vibrant social group open to all women of the CAA community. Our purpose is to provide a friendly Jewish space for women and to offer programs ranging across the social, cultural and Jewish/ritual spectrum.
Participants are encouraged to take an active role in the planning and facilitation of our programming.
A core part of the Women’s Group programming has been a monthly Rosh Chodesh (new month/new moon) group, led by a female Rabbinical Student who presents a program related to the Jewish theme of the calendar.
Some of the other events we have held include: a women’s gathering in the Sukkah; walking as a team to support the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center; bowling night; a local author’s talk; music trivia at a local establishment; potluck dinner at a member’s home; and knitting classes.
